  I've used Uniroyal tyres before and always fitted them to my own vehicles, plus I've recommended them to my customers instead of the cheap Chinese tyres that need to be replaced every year. In my experience, with 40 years in the motoring trade, it is more economical to spend a little more at the outset. Cheap Chinese tyres are in my opinion not worth it.

  This year due to the pandemic, I have only been able to cover 800 miles in my MG Midget. The tyres show very little wear and have required almost no wheel balancing. The sidewalls do seem quite flexible which causes the car to wobble quite a bit on sharp turns but do provide a smooth ride which is something to appreciate in a small car. I haven't had the chance to drive in heavy rain, but the soft compound and deep grooves suggest to me that they will perform well on wet roads. I would recommend these tyres for smaller and lighter vehicles like my MG Midget.
